Shannon McMenamin is a visual artist from the outskirts of Philadelphia. She received her BA in Visual Studies and Psychology from Temple in 2015. Being drawn to the feminine divinity that is motherhood, she is now raising two boys while still creating mostly fibers works. Shannon has a specific interest in texture exploration and color theory. She also works as an assistant hand embroider for a talented professional based in Philadelphia.
